We love reading books to Baby bear, its become part of our daily routine with him. So we are always on the lookout for new books to add to our ever-growing library. Now Baby bear is getting older I’ve started to read and show him more educational books. So when the writter Ross Hammond reached out offering a Ereader copy of his new book ‘Hey Hilde’ I jumped at the chance.
Once I had recieved the book, I decided to have a read through before sitting down with Baby bear and let me say I personally loved the book. Speaking to Ross about the book he informed me, he met a Capuchin monkey called Hidle when he was volunteering in Bolivia with animals who had been rescued from the illegal pet trade.
I’ve read this book to Baby bear a couple of times now and he really enjoys looking at all the colourful pictures while learning alittle about what happens in the illegal pet trade through a child-friendly manner. I think this book is aimed for slightly older children, but this being said Baby bear really enjoys the book. He just doesn’t understand the meaning of the story really yet.
The book is available directly at Hey Hilde and amazon worldwide. All the links are below. I would recommend this book to anyone it is defiantly worth a read with your little ones. Not only that it is helping get the word out what these innocent animals.
