After having the same discussion with Daddy bear for the last 2 years since losing Bonnie a few years ago. Both daddy bear and Baby bear have been itching for me to agree to open our home and hearts to another member ever since. If you haven’t already guessed we got a new family dog. Everyone I want you to meet Mia, our newest addition. She is a mixed breed (half Beagle, 1/4 Jack Russel, 1/4 Chihuahua), 10-month-old cutie and we love her so much already.
As I just said it has been a long and hard decision for me to make Bonnie was my baby and I just wasn’t ready to have another dog in our lives. However, for the past few months, I’ve been warming up to the idea of getting another dog and I’ve even been looking at the different dogs around us on pets4homes, which is where we found Mia. I can’t take the credit for finding Mia though as daddy bear found our newest addition and showed me.
Mia came from a loving family whose circumstances changed and they could no longer keep her. So after coming across Mia’s advertisement Sunday and messaging her last owners within 24 hours of finding her, we had booked a viewing for last night. Once I saw her I knew she was our newest addition, we just needed to ensure Baby bear and Mia got on and liked each other. Needless to say, they love each other and we brought her home (or this is a very pointless post).
So here are some pictures of our little lady for you to just enjoy the cuteness. She looks so much bigger in photos than she is in real life, she’s so little and just cute.
She has settled into our family and her new home so well. I’m so proud of how well she has adjusted to it all really. The only bad thing really is she had an accident by the back door last night but I think that was our fault for missing her cue for wanting to go outside. Other than that she has been so good, playing with Baby bear and putting up with him constantly wanting to touch her, play with her and just not leaving her alone. Before I have anyone jumping down my neck I am separating them so she has time to her self and she has lots of areas around the house set up for her.
So let’s welcome Mia to our family and expect to see quite a lot of Mia from now on x
