When planning our week’s dinners we have been having the same chicken, mince and sausage dinners pretty much on repeat. Dinners are getting so boring, things needed shaking up. So I decided, for dinner one night this week I would make my version of chicken sliders.

I like trying different things and seeing what works and what doesn’t. I’m not as good at it as Daddy bear but I give it a go. So this is my version of easy chicken sliders.

 Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breast
  • 1 cup of any marinade BBQ sauce
  • Rolls

Method:

Take the chicken breast and place them into a bowl and add the marinade to the chicken. Use a pastry brush to cover the chicken with the BBQ sauce, ensuring it is all covered. Cover and leave for a minimum of 3 hours in the fridge.

Preheat the oven to 200’c.

Place the chicken on a baking tray. Pour any excess sauce over the top of the chicken and place in the oven for 25 minutes.

Once the chicken is cooked, place on the side to rest for 5 minutes.

Cut the rolls in half and lightly toast them (I do this in the toaster).

Place the chicken on a chopping board, using 2 forks pull it apart.

Before placing the chicken in the rolls, we like to add any sauces of our choice.

I like to serve the chicken sliders with chips and garlic bread. I found this such an easy recipe to make and it tastes delicious. We will defiantly be having it again. Hope you find it easy to follow and let me know any of your favorite dinners.
